Our Beginning:

    Sarah and Craig Beckman formed Salt and clay ministries to serve God more fully in their daily lives.  Driven by their life verse: " To whom much is given, much will be required" (Luke 12:48) they were seeking to use their gifts and talents in order to more widely communicate God's love, truth and grace.

    While Craig successfully ministers in a full-time corporate America job, Sarah was anxious to impact the world through ministry.  Affirmation came from friends and Godly counsel, and the two realized that Sarah was meant to share her passion for teaching, encouraging and speaking with a broader audience.  After being trained at Dynamic Communicators, Sarah immediately began pursuing this calling.  Craig, (or "Barnabus") offers continual encouragement for Sarah and is a dedicated father, which allows her to pursue her passion for reaching others.  They have 3 children, Nick, 14, Dani Mae, 12 and Moranda, 10 who are chief among the cheerleaders for the ministry!

     The Salt and clay name is drawn from scripture as well as the inspiration of a dear friend. Second Corinthians 4:4-7 serves as a continual reminder of the power we receive from God- not from our own abilities - to proclaim His truth to the world.  We are also spurred on by Colossians 4:6 as we try to make the most of every opportunity God gives us to be "salt" wherever we go.

Craig Beckman is Exec. Vice President of Sales and Marketing for MIOX and devoted father of 3 children.
